Wyoming Field Arts Bootcamp

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel the Wyoming Field Arts Bootcamp up until midnight June 5, 2022 for a refund of your payment less a $45 fee. You may also roll over your payment to another Bootcamp.
Why do you require trip insurance for each participant?
This is to ensure you have medical evacuation coverage (nearly all the Bootcamps will be in remote locations) and that your costs are covered if we have to cancel the Bootcamp due to local emergencies such as forest fire or global health crises. We will provide you with a link to a provider closer to the workshop. If you purchase your own without going through the suggested link we provide, your policy may not cover eventualities such as forest fire causing trip cancellation, for example.
I have checked Travel Guard and they do cover natural disasters including fires that cause you to be unable to occupy your destination. Quotes will vary based on your trip costs and travel costs, but for the Essential I got a quote of $88. Please read all the details carefully! https://www.travelguard.com/buy
Does Travel Guard cover anything related to COVID? Please see their policies here (if you get COVID and have to cancel or are quarantined during a trip, there is coverage): https://www.travelguard.com/travel-news/coronavirus-advisory
Do you offer special dietary options?
Please contact us after registration with your dietary needs (because spaces are extremely limited, do not delay your deposit). We will work with you and the venue if at all possible.
Does the lodge have a bar?
No, we will be bringing wine and beer for happy hours. If you would like something else or your own drinks with dinner, please bring your own.
Do you allow pets?
Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets, even though the ranch allows them, they are not conducive to a group journaling experience.
I am interested in driving to the ranch instead of taking the shuttle.
Be aware it is a very challenging, 4WD, mountain road. There is a longer, slightly easier route. Please consult with us first before deciding to drive. Directions and map are located on the Ranch’s website: https://spearowigwam.com/directions/
Are there flights to Sheridan, Wyoming?
Yes, there are regular flights. Plan to arrive the day before, to be ready for an early morning departure.
Where do I stay in Sheridan and where do I meet the shuttle?
The Best Western partners with the Spear-O—this is where the shuttle picks you up. Mention you are a guest of the Spear-O-Wigwam for a discount and call them directly: (307) 674-7421
