Let’s play in the dirt! By popular demand, I’m offering my first workshop in paint-making from found pigments—including an optional supplies kit!
This two-hour workshop will introduce you to the magical world of true place-based art by teaching you how to:
find rocks and soil from which to create paint;
how to process them into watercolor paint (also applicable to oil or other media).
Optional kit can be purchased and mailed to you in advance, containing:
sample pigment
binder agent
a list of household items you can use to process the paint without a lot of expensive tools
Length: 2 hours (although it might go a little over)
